No, not stupid. Not even slow on the uptake given the circumstances although clearly Mycroft thought so... Liked the delighted look when he takes Mycroft to bed, the composure kept when Sherlock spilled the beans (and the gobsmacked coppers) and definitely Sherlock reduced to silence!
