So the youngest child is now doing fanart.

*dies of teh maternal pride* :)
drachenmina: (Drachensturm)
Yup, still here. Just. And doing a bit of decluttering.
Am editing my f-list; if I unfriend you, it's probably because I'm following you elsewhere. :)

Thank you!

I'm looking for some help: is there anyone on the flist who lives in Berlin/knows it well, and might be willing to read an original (short) m/m novel and correct me where I've messed up the location?

Any pointers gratefully received! :)

Title: Improbably
Author: [livejournal.com profile] drachenmina
Word Count: 1,200
Rating: PG
Spoilery Warning *The dreaded MPREG! * And it may, just possibly, be a little cracky.
Pairing: Sherlock Holmes/Greg Lestrade
AN: Written for the all-round wonderful [livejournal.com profile] accioslash.
Kisses for the beta to the lovely [livejournal.com profile] blooms84, without whose input I'd probably have ended up scrapping everything after the first 300 words...

This makes me ridiculously happy: a translation of my drabble Unintentionally into Russian, by the polyglot [livejournal.com profile] algine

So I now know how to write "Sherlock" in Russian!

Шерлок *g*

So, for all you Russian speakers:

Title: Unintentionally
Author:
[livejournal.com profile] drachenmina
Word count: 221(b)
Pairing: Sherlock/Lestrade
Rating: PG
Warnings: None.
Disclaimer: I disclaim everything but a worrying obsession with getting middle-aged detectives some action.
AN: It has been brought to my attention that some people think this is a one-ship fandom. This is quite clearly heresy of the first order.
Kisses for the beta to the lovely [livejournal.com profile] blooms84

Title: Parenthetically
Author:
[livejournal.com profile] drachenmina
Word count: 1,600
Pairing: Mycroft/Lestrade. (Normal Sherlestrade service will be resumed asap.)
Rating: R
Warnings: Extremely unsuitable for diabetics.
Disclaimer: I disclaim everything but a worrying obsession with getting middle-aged detectives some action.
Thanks for the beta to the lovely [livejournal.com profile] blooms84, who would like me to point out that while middle-aged, Lestrade is still supremely virile and completely shaggable.

My goodness, Mystrade! )

Title: Reciprocally
Author:
[livejournal.com profile] drachenmina
Word count: 1,500
Pairing: Sherlock/Lestrade
Rating: PG
Warnings: None. Unless you count the fact that it's not entirely to be taken seriously.
Disclaimer: I disclaim everything but a worrying obsession with getting middle-aged detectives some action.
Written for [livejournal.com profile] blooms84, who wanted a kiss. And was kind enough to beta, without which Greg would have spent far too much time worrying about his and Sherlock's respective diets, instead of Getting On With It.
Established relationship.

Greg and Sherlock, sitting in a tree... )

And yes, I am still alive. ;)
My alter ego, fishface has been somewhat demanding of late. Cut her some slack, she just sold her first novel!

Despite the Lurgy of Doom(TM) I had a fantastic night out tonight, celebrating a friend's half century and boogie-ing on down to his son's band. (His son is 13. Thir-teen. When I was thirteen, I was still playing with Pippa dolls and reading Enid Blyton. Nowadays, they form jailbait rock bands and wear really tight drainpipe jeans. Scary.)

And I met a real live HP fan! Draco/Ginny shipper, but she's young, she'll grow out of it... ;)

My cup, it runneth over. :D

(It doth that a lot these days. I blame middle-class binge-drinking...)

And thank you to everyone for yesterday's birthday wishes! :D

Does anyone know of online communities re the new version of The Prisoner?

Ever since poor darling Jamie Campell Bower's big scene last ep, I feel a strong urge to connect with someone online re the show...

(and surely someone is writing 6/11-12 fanfic...?)

Those of you with refined sensibilities may want to pass on by. Quickly.

Title: For Whom
Author: [livejournal.com profile] drachenmina
Word Count: 100
Rating: G
[livejournal.com profile] draco100 Prompt#76: Amortentia
Characters: Draco Malfoy, Severus Snape

"Who's it for?" Draco asked idly. As Severus laid down his wand and crossed the lab for a bottle into which to decant the freshly-brewed potion, a waft of fumes reached Draco's nostrils. There was the freshness of a crisp winter's morning, and the musky warmth of sweat-soaked leather. Draco's lips tightened at the bitter pang of nostalgia it brought.

"You can hardly expect me to tell you that, Draco."

"No, I suppose not. Well, good day, Severus."

Moments later, a small, hooded figure entered the lab. "Does he know?"

Severus sighed. "Do I look like an idiot, Miss Weasley?"

My drabble The Four Founders, by Severus Snape, aged four-and-a-half is now available in Russian!

(at least, that's what the polyglot [livejournal.com profile] wayward_jr tells me. For all I know, it's just an advert for Viagra, but nevertheless I could stare at it entranced all day!) ;D

And yay! We have had power for a whole eight hours now (with minor interruptions)!
drachenmina: (Default)
Nope, not in Hertfordshire (as if) - on my profile page!

Thank you, [livejournal.com profile] tamara_severia, [livejournal.com profile] quill_lumos, [livejournal.com profile] accioslash and [livejournal.com profile] the_flic!
